IEA predicts rise in coal’s share of global energy mix
Newly released International Energy Agency’s (IEA) predicts a rise in coal demand in every region of the world except in the U.S., where coal is being pushed out by natural gas. According to the report, the rise in the demand for coal will nearly surpass oil as the world’s top energy source by 2017.
